Announcing the Sofia Tussis Scholarship

Last spring the Dissent office was eagerly looking forward to meeting Sofia Tussis, a promising and talented student and journalist about to enter her final year at the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands. Sofia had been accepted into our summer internship program, but her life was cut tragically short before she had the chance to join our staff.

We’re honored to announce that Sofia’s friend Matt Harrison and his soccer team in Scotland are running the Edinburgh Half Marathon this May to raise money for a scholarship in Sofia’s name at the University of Maastricht.
