[EVENTS] September Announcements for Dissent

We’re pleased to announce three Dissent-related events coming up in September in New York City.

On September 10, Dissent is cosponsoring a fiftieth anniversary celebration of Michael Harrington’s The Other America, with a panel including Dissent board member William Kornblum. On September 12, associate editor Sarah Leonard will give introductory remarks to a debate on violence and legitimacy in the Occupy movement. And on September 17, the Asia Society is hosting the book launch for Chinese Characters, co-edited by Dissent contributor Jeffrey Wasserstrom.
